The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ died on the cross, rose again on the third day and in doing so saved all of us from our sin. By conquering death he also gave us Eternal Life. However what is even more amazing then this simple truth, is that the very same book predicted this event thousands of years before His birth.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Did you know that it has been scientifically proven, thanks to the Dead Sea Scrolls, that the book of Isaiah was written over 1000 years before Christ walked on this Earth. In Fact there are over 300 prophetic scriptures concerning Jesus Christ. The majority of these prophecies have already been fulfilled. What’s more about 27% of the entire bible is considered prophetic text, all of which has been proven as 100% accurate, by the fulfillment of thousands of scriptures.

Unique among all books ever written, the Bible accurately foretells specific events-in detail-many years, sometimes centuries, before they occur. Approximately 2500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors. (The remaining 500 or so reach into the future and may be seen unfolding as days go by.)
